Religion

Good morning reader. In this blog I will talk about religion, a subject that doesn't interest me much in truth. I was born into a Roman Catholic Apostolic family, the "official" religion of Chile. When I was a child, like the teacher, I went to a Catholic school called San Lazaro de Lasalle, a concretion of French priests. And being honest, the only thing I learned was to read very well, and not because of the religion, but because of the school itself.

I have always doubted the existence of the Catholic God, it seemed so strange to me that we in America venerate a god who walked through the Middle East, until I began to learn history and religion interested me again. and this why? Because history taught me that each culture had its own religion and that Catholicism and Abrahamic religions were taught all over the world, by the great migrations and later by the Roman Empire.

It was here that I realized that many religions had patterns in common, a god who dies and rises after 3 days, punishments for the bad and rewards for the good, the number 3, prophets and sacred writings, etc. And then I thought, all religions are based on the same thing with different forms, faith. "Faith moves mountains, they say there", but what is faith?

For me faith is the true religion, the energy that one puts into their goals and the motivations that move you, of course we have to be good because no one, no animal or the earth deserves a negative treatment towards him or her.

Thanks for reading this far! Have an excellent week.

  2. Hi, it's interesting what you say about the repetition of patterns in religions, there are cultures quite far away geographically from each other and they represent their gods in the same way. Like you I would like to know more about that!

  3. Hello, I hope you are very well! I think like you. I think it is very important to have faith in yourself. I believe that faith is a very distorted concept, because it is usually associated with a divine being, external to us.
